SPINT - Official Portal
FSKKP Soft Computing & Intelligent System Research Group (SPINT) is a research group that focusing on intelligent system, decision support system and soft computing. These researches are closely related in broad areas of chemical engineering, biotechnology, automotive, manufacturing etc.
SPINT is taken from the word Dutch which relates to spider. Hence, the spider web is chosen to be the main group logo. The spider web resembles network connection to other fields relate to optimization problem. This is suitable with Soft Computing and Intelligent System fields for example Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP), Vehicle Routing Protocol (VRP), Scheduling, Modeling and Simulation, etc.
The spider web edges represent four niche areas in UMP (Chemical Engineering, Bio-Technology, Automotive and Manufacturing) and four other research groups in FSKKP. The middle line represents continuity of research project and involvement with the industry and government sector. The orange color represents social communication and optimism in this group. Dark blue and white color represents loyalty, integrity and perfection, respectively, which is an important aspect in doing research and consultation.
"To be internationally renowned research center in the area of soft computing & intelligent system"
"We provide high quality research and consultation in the area of soft computing & intelligent system inline with the need of ICT industries as well as the area of chemical engineering, biotechnology, automotive, manufacturing etc."
